Seniors Bingo 2017-02-25

Seniors Redefined (62 and above) would like to invite all seniors to Bingo Saturday. We will meet in the Marshall D. Williams Fellowship Hall from 1:30–4pm just after the Missions Retreat. The Missions Ministry would like you to arrive early (12:30pm) and join us for lunch. Transportation will be provided if requested. The SR fellowship would then lead into our Black History Celebration at 5pm. Please come and learn the plans for Seniors Redefined!

Missions Retreat 2017-02-25

The First Baptist Church Missions Ministry would like to invite the FBC Family to our Missions Retreat. Please mark your calendar for Saturday, February 25th from 8:30am— 1pm in the Marshall D. Williams Fellowship Hall. Please join us as we learn more about what it means to be a missionary, learn about our mission schedule for 2017 and find where God can use you to “Move the Kingdom Forward.” Breakfast and lunch will be served.

(HIGH SCHOOLERS): Young women of FBC, please join us on Saturday, March 11th at 2pm as we learn about Health and Wellness. We will gather in the Marshall D. Williams Fellowship Hall before we embark on our session/field trip outing to Coptic Yogi, located a few minutes from First Baptist. At Coptic Yogi, we will be led by Sis. Eboni Pearson and we explore health-related concepts including yoga, meditation, prayer, oils and healthy lifestyles. The cost of the session/field trip is free and light refreshments will be served. To fully participate in the session, you should wear comfortable clothes that will allow you to stretch. As always, you do not have to be a FBC member to attend and please bring a friend! 2017 Men`s Retreat 2017-03-24

The 2017 Men`s Retreat is scheduled for March 2426 at the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center. The theme: `Fear Nothing When You Fear God. Matthew 10:28.` A cost of $99 covers food and accommodations. Payment is due at the next Men`s Ministry meeting on February 11th, but no later than the meeting on March 11th. Joyce Meyer`s Ministries Conference 2017-03-25

The Women`s Ministry is pleased to announce that the Day trip to the Joyce Meyer`s Conference at the coliseum in Hampton, Va. is moving forward! Today, February 5th, is the first day for collecting the $50 needed to attend this event. This amount includes bus transportation, continental breakfast and a boxed dinner meal. Lunch will be on your own. We are grateful for the Bus Ministry for their support in helping to secure the bus. The bus will leave First Baptist Church at 6am on Saturday, March 25th. All passengers are asked to arrive no later than 5:45am. We must leave at this time in order to arrive in Hampton and get seated before the start of the conference at 9:30am. There are no reserved seats, so the sooner we get there the better the seats. We plan to attend the 9:30am and the 1:30pm sessions. There will be a lunch break around 11:30am. We have reserved seating for lunch at the Golden Corral on Mercury Blvd. which is about a mile from the Coliseum. We will return to the Coliseum at 1pm for the 2nd session at 1:30pm. Boarding the bus at 4pm, leaving for Manassas at 4:30pm and returning to Manassas at 8pm. The boxed meal is for our return trip to Manassas. March 5th is the last day to pay. Please complete the registration form at time of payment.

(THE CREW) Partner Opportunity! 2017-04-03

The Christians Ready Equipped and Willing (CREW) will be assisting the Seniors Redefined Ministry at the National Museum of African American History and Culture on April 3rd at 10am. We would like all those who are able to participate in this event to contact Ashton Jones ( to obtain a ticket. We know that the April 3rd is a week day so we want to have a head count ahead of time in the event that work schedules need to be shifted. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter!
