The Nomination Committee’s goal continues to be assurance of a fair, equitable, inclusive, and transparent election process for the selection of FBC Officers. The Committee will conduct voting using a hard-copy ballot process, as in previous years. Since the November 2025 Church Family Meeting is being held via Hybrid (in person & virtual), the Nomination Committee will hold in-person voting at the FBC campus. FBC disciples in good standing will need to stop by the FBC campus, during the designated hours shown below, sign in and vote. The hours available were established with flexibility in mind to allow all FBC disciples an opportunity to participate. We encourage all members to take this opportunity to vote.
Ballots will be mailed to FBC Senior Saints that were identified or that requested one and will need to be returned by November 12, 2025.
A Sample Ballot will be posted for four weeks prior to the voting period shown below, in the daily church email and on the website @ fbcmanassas.org under the “News” tab.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no candidate for the ** Assistant Financial Secretary position. An individual will need to be nominated from the floor during the Church Family Meeting to fill this position. Please pray and consider a qualified church family member to bring forth for this position.
** Please be aware that the Assistant Financial Secretary position is a bonded position, which requires a law enforcement background check.

Voting Process:
- Individuals will be requested to provide their name, and verification of active membership will be made using the latest official church roster
- Active members will be given a ballot to complete in privacy
- Once completed, place the ballot in the sealed envelope provided and return it to a Nomination Committee member at the door where the ballot will be placed in a locked box
- Ballots will be counted prior to the Church Family Meeting and results announced during the meeting, which will be held on 11/15/25 and will begin promptly at 3:00p.m.
- A nomination from the floor will need to take place to fill the Assistance Financial Secretary position
- No ballots will be accepted on Saturday 11/15/25
