Cynthia Ragland is seeking re-election for the Church Clerk position.
I have been an active member of First Baptist Church since !980. I have served as Sunday School Superintendent, Vacation Bible School Director, Co-Chair of the 140th Church Anniversary, and as Youth Leader for the Angelic Youth Group. I also currently serve as President of the Marshall D. Williams Ministry, Secretary of the Area Health and Wellness Ministry and a member of the Women’s Ministry. I thank God for the opportunity to serve as Church Clerk.
Marion Carter is seeking re-election for the Assistant Church Clerk position.
Marion has been a dutiful member of First Baptist Church for over 30yrs. In addition to serving as the Assistant Church Clerk, Marion is also a Deaconess (Secretary), a member of the Culinary, Greeter’s, and Women’s Ministries (previous Secretary). She also holds the position of Secretary for the National Council of Negro Women.
Marion delights in serving the Lord as well as serving others. Her favorite scripture is, Proverbs 3: 5-6…” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path”.

Aaron Burrell is seeking re-election for the Church Treasurer position.
Aaron Burrell has a BS degree in Physics from Virginia State University (VSU). He has been employed for over 40 years as a Senior Emission Security (EMSEC) Engineer, performing Engineering, Program Management and Budget services for several large government contracts. He has served as First Baptist Church Treasurer for over 40 years, managing Church Financial accounts and performing Payroll and Budget services.

Wilbur Rollins is seeking re-election for the Assistant Church Treasurer position.
My name is Wilbur Rollins; I have a BS Degree in Business Admin/Accounting and have worked in Accounting/Finance at NOVEC since 1989. I have been the Treasurer at Nokesville Fire and Rescue since 2004. I have also formerly served as the Treasurer of Toastmaster’s clubs in Andalusia, AL and Manassas, VA) as well as for Accounting Professionals’ Associations.
Deborah Sykes is seeking re-election for the Church Financial Secretary position.
Deborah has been a member of First Baptist Church for over 25 years. She currently serves as a Deaconess (Treasurer), the church Financial Secretary, and is on the Finance Committee. She has served as the church Asst. Fin.Sec. and Treasurer of the Women’s Ministry. Deborah is the current Treasurer of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Chi Omega Chapter and previously served as Treasurer for the Ivy Foundation of Greater Prince William County.
Curtis Bedford is seeking re-election for the Trustee Ministry
I became a member of First Baptist Church in 2005 and involved myself in the Men’s Ministries, Greeters Ministries, Security Team, Bowling Ministries, Homeless Overnight Chaperon, and Food giveaway every Tuesday. I have served on the Trustee Ministry for the past three years.
I realize that where I am today would not be possible without my faith and God’s help. I am thankful and blessed. Acknowledging this, I desire to continue to serve in a leadership role within the church. Again, thank you for consideration.
Robert Benson is seeking re-election for the Trustee Ministry
Robert “Bob” Benson has been a member of First Baptist Church (FBC) since 1988. He currently serves as Chairman of the Trustee ministry. Bob has been a member of the Trustee ministry for over twelve years serving three terms as Chairman. Bob has led or been part of key Church projects such as renovation of the historical and main sanctuaries, Marshall D William Hall, and classrooms. He serves/has served in the Men Choir, Men’s Ministry, Emergency Assistance Ministry and taught biblical studies (Old & New Testament Survey courses).

Udon Cheek is seeking re-election for the Trustee Ministry.
My name is Udon Cheek, and I have been a member of First Baptist Church for over 25 years. During most of this time, I have served as a Trustee and have been in the Men’s Choir. I was a Police Officer for the United States Park Police for 28 years and for the last 13 years of my tour, I was assigned to the Detective Branch.
During my time as a Trustee, I have been responsible for the background checks on persons that come in contact with the youth of First Baptist and Bonded positions. I have also been a member of the security team of FBC.
Carl Powell is seeking re-election for the Trustee Ministry.
My name is Carl Powell and I have served as a Trustee at First Baptist Church of Manassas for multiple terms. I have also served as a member of FBC HR Committee, a member of the Men’s chorus, and the Drama Ministry. I currently work for an agency that provides medical and residential services for individuals with Autism and Intellectual disabilities.
I believe it is a calling to serve and that I would continue to be a benefit to the Trustee ministry.
