FBC Missions Ministry is hosting the Annual Kids Against Hunger Meal Packing Event on Saturday, September 14th (8:45 AM to 2:00 PM). Location: City of Manassas Fire & Rescue (Hutton Hall), 9324 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110
Together we pack 30,000 meals to be sent to families in need. Sixty-four (64) volunteers can pack approximately 10,000 meals an hour. Please invite family and friends to help participate as we give of our time and fellowship to be servants to others.

Join VOICE leaders and allies for a powerful and informative assembly with top elected officials focused on youth and family behavioral health. This event will bring together those directly impacted and over 1,000 individuals, including youth, families, faith leaders, foundations, healthcare, law enforcement, and educators, to aim at educating and addressing pressing issues in our community.
A panel discussion will take place; on the panel will be: Rebecca Keissling - NAMI NOVA, Ginny Atwood - Chris Atwood Foundation, and Daryl Washington - Fairfax/Falls Church CSB
Though the assembly will primarily center on Fairfax-specific issues, significant portions will deeply affect families across Northern Virginia (Health Region 2).

To provide youth opportunities to study scripture and grow as Christians, The Christian Ed Ministry will hold Youth Discipleship Hour (YDH) for two Sundays in October. We look forward to seeing your children and teenagers on 3rd Sunday, October 15th and 5th Sunday, October 29th in the historic Sanctuary. The Pastor will dismiss students in grades K-12 to YDH at the appropriate time during worship service.
The YDH will include scriptures, lessons based on the Sunday School focus for that Sunday, music, and the learning of basic Bible/Christian teachings that will sustain our children for a lifetime.
We look forward to seeing you at Youth Discipleship Hour!

Please register your child for YDH – even if you have attended previously.
